Temp Computer Science Research Assistant Jobs in California

We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Analyst to support scientific and healthcare market research initiatives. In this role, you will collect, analyze, interpret, and present data that helps drive strategic business decisions for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare projects.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with research data in a scientific or healthcare environment.

Pay Rate: $30.69/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyze scientific, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industry data.

• Compile, organize, and interpret research findings to identify market trends and business opportunities.

• Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for leadership and project teams.

• Support research initiatives through data collection, validation, and analysis.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data quality throughout research projects.

• Assist with competitive intelligence and market landscape assessments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

• Utilize established procedures and guidelines to complete assignments accurately and efficiently.

• Present findings and recommendations to supervisors and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Healthcare, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

• 1–3 years of experience in market research, scientific research, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to organize, interpret, and present data effectively.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare organizations.

• Knowledge of healthcare or life sciences markets.

• Experience preparing analytical reports and presentations.

Education

A Bachelor's Degree in a related scientific or business discipline may be required. Relevant experience in market research, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a related field will also be considered.
