Job description

Onshape Design Engineer (Cloud CAD Specialist)

FANUC America (via Delta Staffing) | Remote / Hybrid

We’re looking for an Onshape expert to help lead our transition to cloud-native CAD.

This is not a SolidWorks role—we need someone who is already hands-on in Onshape and ready to hit the ground running, while helping train and elevate the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and model mechanical components and assemblies in Onshape
  • Leverage real-time collaboration, version control, and PDM
  • Help migrate workflows from SolidWorks to cloud CAD
  • Train and mentor engineers on Onshape best practices
  • Integrate CAD with simulation, automation, and engineering tools

What We Need

  • Proven Onshape experience (required)
  • Strong background in mechanical design & parametric modeling
  • Experience with cloud collaboration + version management
  • Ability to lead adoption and influence teams

Why This Role

Onshape (part of PTC) is redefining CAD with real-time collaboration, zero IT overhead, and true cloud workflows.

This is your chance to be the go-to Onshape leader and shape how engineering gets done moving forward.

If you’re an Onshape power user—let’s talk.
