Job description

We are looking for a meticulous CAD Detailer to join our team in our Woodridge facility. As a CAD Detailer, you will be responsible for creating and refining 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software. The successful candidate should be able to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications and be comfortable communicating value engineering options with team members.

What You'll Do

  • Create and revise 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD 2024, Rhino, SketchUp, Inventor, SolidWorks
  • Work with the project team to provide engineering solutions
  • Ensure that all drawings adhere to company standards and client requirements
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop drawings and resolve issues
  • Ensure that all designs are accurate, complete, and meet deadlines
  • Review and check all drawings for errors
  • Maintain project records and update drawings as needed

 Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience creating and refining 2D and 3D CAD drawings
  • 5+ years of experience detailing in the exhibit, event or permanent install industries
  • Strong understanding of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks, Inventor
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
