Job Title: Aircraft Technician

Job Description

The Aircraft Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance on corporate and general aviation aircraft. You will assist licensed mechanics with repairs, and structural and mechanical elements of aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on a variety of aircraft, including Cessna, Pipers, King Air, Beechcraft, Citation series, piston, jet engine, and turboprop aircraft.
• Assist licensed mechanics with repair tasks.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with aviation standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in aircraft maintenance and repair.
• Experience with airframe and aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to conduct inspections on various aircraft types.
• Experience with jet engines and turboprop aircraft.
• 1-5 years of general aviation maintenance experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A&P certification.
• Experience with Citation series aircraft.
• Flight Safety certification on specific aircraft models.

Work Environment

Work is conducted in two hangars located in Mt. Olive and Rocky Mount, NC. The position is primarily based in Mt. Olive but may require travel to Rocky Mount occasionally. The role operates on a first shift schedule, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility for weekend hours as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Olive, NC.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
