Weekly Pay Range: $2,247.97 – $2,644.67 per week
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist for a 12-week travel assignment in Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during complex EP procedures, diagnostic catheterizations, and device implantations in a state-of-the-art facility. Interviews are being conducted immediately for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub, monitor, and assist physicians during electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and device placements (pacemakers, ICDs).
- Prepare and calibrate specialized equipment, including mapping systems, recording devices, and stimulators.
- Monitor patient hemodynamics, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs throughout procedures, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Maintain a sterile field and strictly adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary cardiac care team to ensure seamless patient care and room turnover.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of recent EP Tech experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Certifications: Active CPR/BLS (AHA required). RCES or RCIS preferred (or State Radiologic Technologist License where applicable).
- Education: Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or completion of an accredited allied health training program (High School Diploma / Academic Transcript required at submittal).
- Skills: Proficiency with cardiac mapping systems, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and Cerner EMR.
- Compliance: Flu vaccination required prior to start. Must pass a clean-shaven mask fit test upon arrival.
