Job Description

Position               : Sr. Stonebranch Administrator

Location               : Harrisburg, PA Onsite

Duration              : 6-month contract to hire
MOI                       : In Person

ROLE OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking a Senior Enterprise Scheduling and Automation Administrator with deep expertise in Stonebranch. This role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise job scheduling solutions across multiple environments.

The position supports enterprise IT operations by ensuring automation of reliability, system integration, and workflow orchestration across platforms. The administrator will partner closely with operations and infrastructure teams to maintain scheduling performance, system availability, and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of Stonebranch job scheduling solutions across all environments
  • Own and maintain enterprise scheduling configurations and lifecycle management
  • Plan and execute Stonebranch migrations, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Install, configure, and maintain Stonebranch servers and agents
  • Coordinate agent installations and upgrades across environments
  • Maintain connectivity and communication between Stonebranch components
  • Partner with Operations and Infrastructure teams to ensure optimal scheduling performance
  • Perform platform administration to ensure system component stability and reliability
  • Configure monitoring alerts and proactively implement resolutions for performance and compliance issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling, agent, and connectivity issues
  • Investigate job and task failures and implement corrective actions
  • Manage job sequencing, triggers, actions, run/skip criteria, and workflow lifecycle processes
  • Determine appropriate use of force-finishing, re-running tasks, and related impact analysis
  • Monitor scheduling activity and performance, perform task forecasting, and generate reports

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Expert-level experience administering Stonebranch enterprise scheduling environments
  • Experience leading design, implementation, and lifecycle management of Stonebranch jobs
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Stonebranch servers and agents
  • Experience managing migrations, upgrades, and enhancements of Stonebranch platforms
  • Experience configuring monitoring, alerting, tasks, workflows, and variable management
  • Deep understanding of job sequencing, triggers, run/skip criteria, and workflow lifecycle management
  • Experience troubleshooting scheduling, agent, and connectivity issues
  • Experience monitoring activity, forecasting tasks, and reporting on scheduling performance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bash or Korn Shell scripting
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Python scripting
  • Understanding of Red Hat Linux as an underlying operating system
  • Understanding of networking and client access troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of public cloud deployment solutions
