Job description

We are a small and highly collaborative engineering team supporting a large number of projects and initiatives. As such, new engineers on our team will contribute to development efforts across our stack, including development of back-end web services, web and native mobile clients, and data processing tools using SQL. Engineers on our team also collaborate with product specialists and other stakeholders to refine designs and project plans to ensure the company's goals are met. 

This position is a great fit for developers who are enthusiastic about working with a variety of technologies, and who can learn and apply new skills quickly. Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in software development

  • Experience with one or more modern programming languages

  • Ability to design effective domain models

  • Background in object oriented design patterns

What You Will Do:

  • Develop Folia's core model for recording and analyzing personal health data

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of web services for consumption by our client applications

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of features for our front-end applications (web and mobile)

Environment

We currently have an office in Boston, MA and our team works remote and in-person based on their individual preference.

Compensation

  • Starting salary range of 110k - 150k depending on experience
