Purpose of the role: To assess the quality of business processes and the execution of processes and develop initiatives to improve quality standards. Accountabilities Identify areas for improvement within operations and provide recommendations for change through the quality assurance process. Develop and implement quality control procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations. Collaborate with teams across the bank to develop quality improvement guidelines, initiatives, objectives, and action plans to monitor performance, improve business areas and govern processes. Develop reports and presentations on quality control performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders. Monitor customer-facing colleagues' performance, evaluating their performance through reviews, quality reporting, policy development and feedback on customer interactions. Execute quality audits of the bank's processes and operations, aligned to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in quality assurance services. Participate in projects and initiatives to improve quality control efficiency and effectiveness. Quality Control Analyst – Correspondent Banking Responsibilities: Conduct quality control reviews of investigations completed by Correspondent Banking analysts against predefined checklists to identify errors, gaps, or areas requiring remediation. Review Correspondent Banking Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) prepared by analysts, ensuring adherence to internal policies, compliance requirements, and reporting standards while supporting overall quality and effectiveness of financial crime investigations. Qualifications & Skills Experience conducting Correspondent Banking AML investigations. Experience performing quality reviews of AML investigations, including Quality Control or Quality Assurance activities. Research, analytical, and information validation skills with ability to assess and interpret data from multiple sources and systems. Background in reviewing and assessing Requests for Information (RFIs) from clients and financial institutions. Exposure to Trade Finance or Trade-related AML investigations. ACAMS certification or familiarity with AML compliance principles and industry practices. Involvement in control reporting, issue management, and root cause analysis activities.
