Schedule: Day shift 7:00 AM - 03:30 PM and Night shift 7:00 PM - 03:30 AM. (40 plus hours a week.)

Position Summary
Davcor Aviation Services is currently seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to support advanced aircraft maintenance operations. This senior-level role is intended for technicians with substantial hands-on aircraft maintenance experience who can perform complex tasks independently while maintaining strict compliance with FAA and company standards.
We are looking for motivated professionals with strong mechanical aptitude, sound judgment, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with approved technical data, company manuals, and safety procedures
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, modify, and maintain aircraft systems and components
  • Use intermediate-level hand tools and maintenance equipment to complete assigned work
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, work cards, engineering data, and maintenance instructions
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, inspectors, and team members regarding work progress and technical issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and maintenance records as required
  • Support training and mentorship of junior technicians as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience OR possession of an A&P License
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools
  • Intermediate assortment of personal hand tools required
  • Ability to work in confined spaces (required)
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and follow detailed technical data and work instructions
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment screening, including:
    • FAA-mandated drug test
    • Background check
  • A&P License preferred but not required
  • Ability to obtain a Repairman's Certificate within 12 months is required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements (Confined Space)
This position may require work inside aircraft fuel tanks and other confined spaces. Technicians must be able to safely enter, work within, and exit confined areas in accordance with OSHA confined-space standards and company safety procedures.
Responsibilities and physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform maintenance tasks in confined and restricted spaces with limited clearance
  • Safely enter and exit aircraft fuel tanks through access openings typically ranging from approximately 12-24 inches
  • Perform work that may require reaching, bending, crawling, kneeling, and working in tight spaces for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to squat, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work from maintenance stands, lifts, and lift trucks
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language clearly
  • Ability to follow and disseminate detailed work instructions
  • Work performed in hangar, ramp, and aircraft environments, including exposure to industrial conditions and varying weather
  • Perform all work with a high level of safety awareness, quality, and attention to detail
  • Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change based on operational needs
