As a Teller at our credit union, you'll be one of the first friendly faces our members see, helping them with everyday transactions while building valuable skills in member service, cash handling, account transactions, problem-solving, and financial product knowledge. This role is a great steppingstone for someone who wants to learn how a credit union operates, gain hands-on industry experience, and grow toward future opportunities in areas such as member service, lending, operations, and beyond.

A Day in the Life as a Teller:

In this role, you'll help create a positive experience for our members from the moment they walk through the door. Each day, you'll assist members with everyday financial needs such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, internal transfers, and direct deposits. You'll answer questions, help resolve concerns, handle cash accurately, and balance your cash drawer while following procedures that protect both our members and the credit union. It's a hands-on role where you can build confidence, strengthen your financial services knowledge, and make a meaningful impact through friendly, reliable service.

What we are looking for:

-High School education or equivalent required.

-1 month-1 year of similar or related experience preferred. Related experience includes previous experience in customer service, cashier or cash handling, sales or retail.

-Bilingual capability in English and Spanish preferred.

Schedule:

  • Full Time, Non-Exempt Position.
  • This position requires availability to work every Saturday (8:45 AM to 1:15 PM). Weekday shifts are scheduled between 7:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. based on operational needs. Employees work with their manager to establish a weekly schedule, which may include a half-day or full day off during the week when Saturday is worked.

Salary Range:

$19.57-$21.75 per hour

This position is eligible for an additional $1.00 per hour bilingual pay differential for verified English/Spanish proficiency.
