As a BI Developer, you'll play a critical role in building scalable analytics solutions that inform business strategy and operational performance. This isn't a ticket-based reporting role-you'll partner directly with stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and design data solutions that deliver measurable value.
What You'll Do: Your Roadmap to Impact
This isn't just dashboard development-it's an opportunity to own data solutions end-to-end and influence business outcomes. Here's how you'll make a difference:
Build Scalable Analytics Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain high-impact Power BI dashboards using strong data modeling and DAX best practices.
Transform Data into Insight: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to analyze large datasets and deliver actionable insights on cost, utilization, and performance.
Deliver Operational Reporting: Develop and maintain SSRS reports for scheduled and ad hoc reporting needs.
Partner with the Business: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, ask the right questions, and translate ambiguity into structured, data-driven solutions.
Design Efficient Data Models: Create scalable data models to support enterprise-level reporting and analytics.
Improve Processes & Accessibility: Automate workflows, enhance reporting efficiency, and increase data accessibility across teams.
Ensure Data Integrity: Maintain consistency and quality across multiple data sources.
Lead & Mentor: Contribute to best practices, support technical initiatives, and mentor junior team members.
Who You Are: The Developer We're Looking For
We're seeking a proactive, technically strong problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership of their work.
Experienced BI Professional:
  • 4+ years in BI/analytics development
  • 3+ years Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization)
  • 4+ years SQL (complex queries, CTEs, window functions, large datasets)
  • 2+ years SSRS reporting

Strong Technical Foundation:
  • Expertise in data modeling and relational databases
  • Ability to design scalable, high-performance data solutions

Ownership Mindset:
  • Takes initiative and owns solutions from concept through delivery
  • Comfortable defining problems-not just executing tasks

Critical Thinker & Problem Solver:
  • Translates ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable outputs
  • Challenges assumptions and drives meaningful insights

Collaborative Communicator:
  • Effectively partners with stakeholders
  • Clearly connects data insights to business impact

Bonus Experience (Nice to Have):
  • Healthcare data (claims, cost/utilization)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
