A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS St.Vincent Hospital is seeking a Telemetry Technician to join our Intensive Care unit. Telemetry Technicians observe telemetry monitors and work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure consistent patient safety.
Position Specifics:
Department: Intensive Care Unit
. Core Function: Nursing support
Schedule: Part-time, 18 hrs/wk,; Night shift (7pm-7am); and every third weekend
Facility: St. Vincent Hospital
Location: Green Bay, WI

Education

High School Diploma or GED-Required

Experience

1 year Telemetry experience-Preferred

2 years' experience in the medical field-Preferred

Certifications Licenses and Registrations

Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required

Certification in cardiac technology by the American Cardiology Association-Preferred

Successfully complete basic EKG training at the first offering and 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire-Required

Certification by the State as Certified Medical Assistant Certified Nurse Assistant Licensed Paramedic Licensed LPN with EKG training or a RN nursing student with EKG training required in WI.

Certification by the State as Certified Medical Assistant Certified Nurse Assistant Licensed Paramedic Licensed LPN with EKG training or a RN nursing student with EKG training preferred in IL.
