Job description

Registered Nurse Neuro Trauma ICU

Location: Chico, California
Pay Rate: $70 to $73/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night Shift,12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 5 years required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Neuro Trauma ICU for a 13-week contract opportunity in Chico, California. This role supports a Level II Trauma NT/SICU unit caring for high-acuity neuro and trauma patients, including patients requiring ICP monitoring, CRRT, and lumbar drain management.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing for neuro, trauma, ICU, and surgical ICU patients
• Manage high-acuity patients requiring ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using EPIC charting
• Collaborate with physicians, ICU teams, and interdisciplinary staff to support safe outcomes
• Float to CVU, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed

Requirements

• active california registered nurse license required
• minimum 5 years of acute critical care experience required
• bls and acls certifications required
• level ii trauma critical care and neuro/trauma ICU experience required
• epic charting experience and previous travel nurse experience required
