14429 - Gaming Systems Application Owner (onsite) - Doral, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: contract to hire
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible convertion to direct hire.
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client; With availability to travel to remote locations to provide support as needed. With 10% travel required.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
Availability to work 100% onsite at the Client's site in Doral, FL (required);
Experience in application support, application ownership, IT operations, or business systems support (3-8 years);
Experience defining strategy, owning a roadmap, and driving execution;
Experience with end-to-end product delivery;
Experience supporting enterprise applications in an operational or production environment;
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors;
Experience with application lifecycle management, production support, and incident, problem, and change management (ITIL-based environments);
Experience with enterprise technology concepts including system integrations, data flows, infrastructure dependencies, and security/compliance considerations;
Experience with data analysis and operational reporting using SQL and Excel;
Experience with ticketing, documentation, and work management tools including ZenDesk, ServiceNow, Wrike, and Microsoft 365;
Experience with supporting remote or mission-critical operational environments, vendor coordination, troubleshooting, and maintaining effectiveness during high-impact outages.
Preferred:
Exposure to casino management systems, gaming systems, or regulated technology environments.
Experience supporting 24/7 operational environments (e.g., hospitality, travel, retail, gaming);
Responsibilities:
Apply strong application lifecycle management and production support practices to ensure stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of assigned systems.
Analyze system integrations, data flows, and infrastructure dependencies to support effective troubleshooting and operational decisionmaking.
Utilize incident, problem, and change management processes to assess issues, drive resolution, and prevent recurrence in a fastpaced operational environment.
Evaluate security, compliance, and regulatory considerations within operational systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and audit requirements.
Translate operational business needs into clear technical requirements, collaborating with crossfunctional teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver effective solutions.
Perform data analysis using SQL and Excel to support issue investigation, reporting, and operational insights while maintaining strong documentation and communication practices.
Manage multiple priorities independently, maintaining calm and professionalism during outages or highimpact incidents while ensuring effective communication with technical and nontechnical audiences.
