Position: Distinguished, Architect

Duties: Develops and implements product development strategies using Agile development processes by using iterative and incremental development processes; collaborating between self-organizing, cross-functional teams for requirements and solutions; and promoting adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery for rapid and flexible response to change. Identifies and implements strategies for service enabled technologies (for example, service-oriented architecture) by defining a set principles and methodologies for designing and developing software in the form of interoperable services; defining business functionalities that are built as software components; and integrating widely disparate applications for a Web-based environment using multiple implementation platforms. Leads hardware or software technology strategy development and implementation by selecting and defining technology for competitive advantage; establishing architectural governance; cultivating support from division management and Architecture teams; coordinating divisional strategic initiatives; and formulating business usage and delivery of technology solutions. Guides business strategy efforts by providing expertise in the strategic planning process; ensuring global focus for Engineering; maintaining knowledge of and a vision for the business, business strategies, and objectives; and ensuring architects design and deliver organizational initiatives that align with the organization's direction. Influences the direction of Engineering within the organization by setting and presenting the vision of future hardware or software architecture relevant to the direction of business goals and Engineering. Improves the hardware or software technology environment by utilizing industry research; researching the latest developments in hardware or software technology applicable to the enterprise; analyzing industry best practices; and benchmarking internal processes and solutions against industry technology and trends. Requirement And Scoping Analysis: Requires knowledge of: Traceability matrix; Risk analysis methodologies; Cost Analysis; Business objectives; Classification of requirements; User stories to analyze the requirements/updates/modifications for alignment with business objectives and priorities. Articulate the impact of the proposed solution on business and its ability to address requirements. Mediate conflicting requirements of the various stakeholders. Guide teams to assess feasibility of new requirements. Prioritize the product/solution requirements to drive creation of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to meet the core requirements. Proactively identify areas for product enhancements, new features and updates based on customer requirements/ feedback. Contribute to the creation of user stories for complex requirements across the domain (For agile methodology). Leads hardware or software technology projects by gathering system requirements and project timelines; tracking and completing ad hoc requests to meet due dates; following documented processes; reviewing and prioritizing technology requirements; coordinating with cross-functional teams; and communicating issues and project status to stakeholders. Telecommuting / working from home is permissible.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and 4 years of experience in software engineering or related experience; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and 6 years of experience in software engineering or related experience.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Designing and Implementing Mobile Applications using Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, and Dart; Client-server and Mobile Systems Architecture; Coding in C, JavaScript, and Python; Working with cloud technologies like PCF and GCP; Building infrastructure for MacOS using Containers, CI/CD using Jenkins, Fastlane; Using cloud dataflow, cloud composer for stream job and workflow; Machine Learning - Inferencing pipeline using PyTorch, Python, Pandas, Computer Vision using CoreML; Porting C-based libraries to Objective-C and Implementing SSO as shared component used by multiple apps; Designing REST API web services using Springboot, Node.js; Designing relational and non-relational database management systems MYSQL, BigTable, Cassandra; and Designing and implementing multiplatform mobile apps using React Native, Flutter, Custom solution using WebViews. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $194,938.00 - 260,000.00/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives
