Worldpay, LLC seeksPayments Engineer Specialist - DataStage CloudTechnologies inCincinnati, OHtoperform DataStage administrative functions including user account maintenance, system configuration, creation and maintenance of workflow rules, process builders, validation rules, approval processes,reportsand dashboards.

What you will be doing

ThePayments Engineer Specialist - DataStage Cloud Technologieswillinstall and configure IBM Infosphere DataStage on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure VMs, AWS EC2).Additionally, the role will:

  • Set up microservices tier, services tier, and engine tier in cloud environments.

  • Manage DataStage support requests from users according to established SLA.

  • Create and maintain DataStage-related business, technical and user documentation.

  • Create andmaintainreports and dashboards in DataStage toproviderelevant insights that support strategicobjectivesand KPIs.

  • Identifyareas for improvement introducing innovative recommendations, factoring in customer needs, external approaches, data analytics, and industry best practices, in close coordination with the Product Owner.

  • Liaise between the business analysts, internal systems team, and external vendors, developing solutions to meet user requirements.

  • Configure shared storage (e.g., NFS, NetApp) and database connectivity (Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Hadoop).

  • Integrate DataStage with cloud-native services like AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Snowflake.

  • Configure IAM roles, VPCs, private links, and secure access policies.

  • Keep abreast of IBM DataStage initiatives and technology trends thatimpactthe business to continue to improve efficiencies on the DataStage platform.

  • Manage system issues appropriately and escalate to supportcenterand senior management when needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:Installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining IBM DataStage environments, AWS, and Azure across more than 50 Red Hat Linux servers; managing deployments, environment builds, and upgrades; monitoring Linux servers, file systems, network configurations, and logs while performing administration tasks including SSH setup, patching, and performance tuning; administering IBM DataStage environments by handling installations, upgrades, patching, job scheduling, and troubleshooting to support over 20,000 ETL(extract transformation and loading) jobs across development, testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), production, and disaster recovery environments; automating server operations, job monitoring, andxmetadatabase performance checks by creating shell and Python scripts; managing infrastructure changes and deployments using Git and CI tools, while maintaining versioned Terraform modules and reusable templates to provision cloud resources including S3, IAM, Snowflake, and VPCs; provisioning and managing cloud resources including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and Snowflake, ensuring secure access and compliance with cloud security standards; performing cloud administration tasks including RBAC setup, network policy configuration, and infrastructure monitoring; ensuring DataStage application system security and availability through proactive monitoring and vulnerability remediation, with troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.In the alternative, the employer will accept aMaster'sdegree in theabove listedfields and three (3) years of experience in theabove listedskills.
