Platform Product Owner
Johnston, Rhode Island
Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Platform Product Owner for its Johnston, Rhode Island location.
Duties: Drives stories, journeys, and experiences of a designated pod or product. Works with a team to create a product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Works with all stakeholders to ensure needs and demands are considered as part of the prioritization process. Works as part of a discovery team to flesh out concepts and create features in partnership with architecture, engineering, operations, business, and other staff groups. Develops success and acceptance criteria for pod stories. Manages vendor testing relationships. Manages standard releases, hot fixes, deployments, open cases with vendors, and production incidents between vendors and the business.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree (3 or 4 years) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the role or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Gathering and refining requirements, offering recommendations on software solutions; Managing product backlog and writing stories with acceptance criteria focused on Trade Finance functionality using Jira; Utilizing Trade Finance platforms, including Fusion Trade Innovation, Trade Portal, Flexcube Corporate and Bank Trade; Utilizing SWIFT messaging standards, including configuration and testing SWIFT MT7XX/MT4XX messaging protocols for International Trade Finance transactions; Managing the configuration and implementation of Fusion Trade Innovation and Trade 360 Portal Trade finance modules; Customizing Trade Finance modules including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Documentary Collections to meet client specific needs; Conducting process automation to improve Trade Finance operations; Identifying the gaps between organizational needs and Trade Finance software; Managing system testing (including UAT and SIT) for Trade Finance Platforms using Jira, Selenium, and HP ALM; Conducting impact assessments to evaluate how Trade Finance systems, including Fusion Trade Innovation and Trade Portal, process changes affect operations, compliance, and stakeholders, and implementing mitigation strategies; and Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting for Fusion Trade Innovation and Trade Portal production issues to minimize operational risks
