Description
General Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to the Director of Student life and Career Development and supports campus engagements, campus life activities, and student resource services, including, but not limited to virtual and on-campus activities, event registrations, student success workshops, recruitment of clubs and organizations, assistance with food resource center, community volunteerism, and other duties and initiatives as assigned by the Director.
Examples of Duties
Job Function:
- Perform administrative /clerical duties such as typing, correspondence, filing, data entry, answering the telephone, and taking accurate messages.
- Reporting: Creating and configuring spreadsheets (google and excel sheets), compiling data for assessment and assisting with survey data collection.
- Assist Director with Food Resource Drives and donations.
- Assist with community outreach and community partner events.
- Assist Clubs/Organizations and Officers with programs, events and fundraising. Maintain physical and electronic data on each student club and organization and attend all Student Government monthly meetings.
- Maintain office and food resource center inventory.
- Assist in the daily oversight of campus engagement and success events, activities, and in maintaining accurate food resource center inventory.
- Assist in classroom presentations that promote student success and engagement.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate Degree; experience in higher education a plus; excellent writing, editing, and accurate data entry skills; above average organizational skills, reliability, and self-reliance are essential; be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google sheets, and PowerPoint; be proficient with spreadsheets, data entry and data assessment. Must be able to effectively present information in one or more small group situations with students, faculty, and staff.

Anticipated Work Hours:
Twenty-Five (25) hours per week; 6.25 hours per day (8:30 am - 2:45 pm), Monday - Thursday.
