From our genre-defining games like Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. That's where you come in!

Wizards of the Coast has built a central technology team to create high-value software and processes in direct support of our development teams. We are led by the belief that providing industry-leading tools, innovative technology, and excellent support allows our teams to focus on delivering outstanding player experiences first and foremost.

Wizards is looking for someone who is interested in building Unreal plugins, engine code, and tools to assist our game developers to speed up the development cycle and deliver the highest quality games. This is a role requiring frequent teamwork with internal partners including: game and application engineers, account and backend services teams, and data engineers.

We are a team of people with strong work life balance while working to deliver top quality technology! If this is exciting to you, please apply!

What You'll Do:

  • Build automation solutions that can run locally and in cloud build/test environments
  • Integrate and deliver solutions that can run locally, on target devices, and in cloud build/test environments
  • Work with dev teams to deliver tools with quality user experience that are used in daily development

What You'll Bring:

  • 3 years experience as an Unreal engineer building tools and plugins
  • Experience with C++, Python, and Typescript
  • Ability to work closely with developers in a thoughtful and collaborative manner
  • Experience with content pipelines, performance tools, and Unreal engine architecture
  • Broad understanding of software internals, software development processes, and debugging tough-to-find issues.
