Job description

Design and Development of Test Plans and Test Cases based on client requirements and specifications through design, develop and maintain test automation framework and strategies, and approaches that incorporate multiple phases of testing including unit, system, integration, smoke, functional, non-functional, and regression testing.

Implement test solutions, write complex code and scripts to test systems, implement test harnesses and infrastructure; perform automation feasibility analysis and conduct proof-of-concept evaluations and demos for different systems under test.

Maintain system knowledge and provide technical support monitoring the existing systems and sharing it regularly with the end users; create, and thoroughly document defects found using the application’s defect reporting template, maintain defect logs and provide summary reports on defects in accordance with established procedures for the application; review, participate and document issues and defects found in walkthroughs of intermediate project deliverables.

Provide support and contribute to the requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation; implement new and improve existing QA processes and standards through the successful execution of the Software Testing Life Cycle; mentor, train, and provide guidance to the team; collaborate with QA, development teams, project managers, technical services, and business users; as well as review technical documentation that includes business requirements, functional specs, design, and release content documents; relocations/telecommuting may be required plus travel to various unanticipated client locations within the United States for short and long term assignments.

Education

Master’s degree in computer science/computer applications/engineering (Computer Science/Civil/Electronics/Mechanical). Will accept Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Engineering (Computer Science/Civil/Electronics/Mechanical) plus five (5) years of progressive experience in related fields in lieu of a master’s degree. Will accept foreign education equivalent.
