Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor live trading activity across a broad spectrum of asset classes to identify and escalate risk exposures and breaches in real time.
  • Collaborate closely with traders, operations, and technology teams.
  • Interpret trading behavior and market movements to assess potential risk implications.
  • Support the development and refinement of risk monitoring tools and dashboards
  • Contribute to post-trade reviews and risk incident analysis.
  • Assist in the enforcement of trading limits and risk policies.

What We're Looking For:
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in a trading, risk, or operations role within a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, or investment bank is preferred but not essential.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of futures markets and trading mechanics.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Ability to remain composed and make sound judgments in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly articulate risk concerns to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset: This is a key requirement. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex trading data quickly and accurately.
  • Technical Skills: While advanced programming or quantitative modeling is not required, comfort with using trading and risk platforms, Excel, and basic data tools is expected.
  • Able to work in the office 5 days a week

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with risk frameworks and trading compliance standards.
