Job description

Who We Are
SuiteSpot is a PropTech company transforming how residential real estate is managed and operated at scale. Our award-winning Maintenance and Capital SaaS solutions serve the top 50 multifamily property management operators in North America, helping them streamline operations across hundreds of thousands of units.
We move fast, ship real solutions, and measure ourselves by customer outcomes. Our engineering team operates with high autonomy and direct customer impact. We live by P.I.E.—Passion, Integrity, and Execution—and look for people who do the same.
The Role
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale our platform. You'll work across the full stack—Angular frontends, Node.js/NestJS backends, MongoDB—to ship features that get into customers' hands fast.
This isn't a big company where your code sits in review queues for weeks. What you build today can be in production tomorrow, used by field technicians servicing apartments across North America. We're looking for engineers who thrive with that kind of ownership—people who want to see their work make a real difference, not disappear into a backlog.
You'll own features end-to-end, contribute to architecture decisions, and help set the technical direction for your team. You'll report to an Engineering Manager and collaborate with product, design, and other engineers.
What You'll Do
Build features across our Angular web platform, mobile apps (Ionic/Capacitor), and Node.js/NestJS backend services

  • Own problems end-to-end from technical design through deployment and iteration
  • Improve our codebase by modernizing existing UIs, reducing technical debt, and improving performance
  • Shape technical direction through architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
  • Work with AI tools including LLMs via Amazon Bedrock to build intelligent features and improve developer productivity
  • Collaborate across teams with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver great user experiences
What You Bring
  • Ownership mentality. You don't wait to be told what to do. You see a problem, figure out what needs to be built, and drive it to completion. You're accountable for outcomes, not just output.
  • Thrive in fast-moving environments. You're energized by shipping quickly and iterating based on real customer feedback. You balance speed with quality and know when each matters more.
  • Full-stack capability. You're comfortable working across frontend (Angular/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3) and backend (Node.js, Express, NestJS). You move between layers as the problem requires.
  • Senior-level engineering skills (5+ years proven experience). You write clean, testable code. You understand responsive design, performance optimization, and building maintainable systems.
  • Clear communication. You can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Continuous improvement. You stay current with emerging technologies, take feedback well, and push yourself and the team to get better.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LLMs and AI tooling (Amazon Bedrock, Claude, or similar)
  • Mobile development with Ionic and Capacitor
  • MongoDB and data modeling experience
  • AWS and Docker deployment experience
  • B2B SaaS or PropTech background

What's In It For You
Immediate impact. Our customers manage hundreds of thousands of apartments. What you ship gets used—fast. You'll see your work in the hands of field technicians within days, not quarters.
Real ownership. You'll have autonomy to choose how you work, introduce new tools, and drive engineering practices. No red tape, no waiting for permission.
Growth path. We're expanding in Canada and the US. Whether you want to pursue technical leadership, architecture, or people management, opportunities grow as we do.
We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits starting day one, and flexible remote work options.
Hiring Process

  • Initial conversation with a Talent Advisor plus a technical assessment
  • Technical interview with Engineering leadership
  • Final conversation with our CTO

We recognize that not everyone takes the same path when building their skills. If you meet 70% of the qualifications and are looking for a challenging career, we'd love to hear from you.
SuiteSpot welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Should you require accommodations in any part of the interview process, please contact us at careers@suitespottechnology.com.
