Title: Solutions Architect/ IT Security Engineer
Qualification: Master/Bachelor/Ass. in CS/IT/Engg/Science or equiv.
Minimum experience required: Bachelors/Associate in CS/IT/Engg/Science or equiv. + 2 yrs exp for junior position. Masters in CS/IT/Engg/Science or equiv. or Bachelors in CS/IT/Engg/Science or equiv. + 5 yrs of exp for senior position.
Skills: Mcafee MVISION, Tenable, Zscaler, Cisco Umbrella, AWS, Windows, Unix.
Location: Manhattan Beach, CA
Pay rate: $72218.00/year for Bachelors/Ass. + 2 yrs exp, $130957.00/year for Bachelors + 5 yrs exp, $91790.00/year for Masters (OES industry standards)

Job Duties: As a Solutions Architect/ IT Security Engineer, the employee will be responsible for the following job duties:
  • Study the client's current product development process and investigate how solution fit into the system.
  • Identify where and when to deploy features like remote connectivity and device emulation.
  • Interface directly with a hardware architect and/or an electrical engineer or electronics engineer to understand the product before designing the solutions.
  • Generating the highest level of software requirements, based on the user's needs and other constraints such as cost and schedule.
  • Performing cost-benefit analyses to determine the best methods or approaches for meeting the software requirements; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components.
  • Investigation and identifying new use case for the tool and re-architecting or customizing the solution in for the client environment.
  • Developing partitioning algorithms (and other processes) to allocate all present and foreseeable (software) requirements into discrete software partitions such that a minimum of communications is needed among partitions, and between the user and the system.
  • Partitioning large software systems into (successive layers of) subsystems and components each of which can be handled by a single software engineer or team of engineers.
  • Generating a set of acceptance test requirements, together with the designers, test engineers, and the user.
  • Generating products such as sketches, formal diagrams, executable models, an early user's manual, and prototypes to keep the user and the engineers constantly up to date and in agreement on the system to be provided as it is evolving
  • Co-ordination with the offshore team and onsite engineers
