What you’ll do
  • Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed to ensure efficient operations
  • Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment under the direction of the crew leader
  • Ensure door-tag notifications and resident alerts for construction activities are completed before work begins each day
  • Stock, clean, and maintain company vehicles and equipment to ensure readiness for daily operations
  • Perform manual excavation and minor repairs with the use of shovels and mechanical tools as required
  • Direct and flag traffic flow according to local DOT guidelines
  • Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed
  • Perform work in all weather conditions to meet project deadlines
  • Assist with basic maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need
  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
  • Valid state driver’s license (cannot be Provisional) with an acceptable driving record
  • Willingness to become a certified pole climber
  • 0-3 years of labor experience, preferably in telecommunications
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in solo and team environments
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Additional qualifications

  • Pass a DOT physical to meet job requirements

Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely: work at heights, handle fiber reels weighing up to 50 lbs, and operate in various weather conditions
