Compensation

$28–$31 per hour, based on experience and practical skills assessments.

Position Summary

As a Tower Top Hand, you’ll support the Crew Supervisor and Construction Project Manager in building, maintaining, and upgrading tower sites according to customer specifications and construction drawings. You’ll help load and unload materials, maintain tools and equipment, and ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Understands scopes of work
  • Works confidently at heights and serves as the lead on the tower
  • Takes pride in timely craftsmanship

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with a crew of 3–4
  • Strong character: dependable, honest, and safety-focused
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
  • Proficiency with computers, office suites, data systems, and cameras
  • Ability to read construction drawings, assembly drawings, and RF data sheets
  • Rigging, knot tying, and signaling knowledge
  • Physical stamina to climb towers and lift/pull/push up to 80 lbs
  • Ability to crouch, kneel, twist, and climb using both hands
  • Experience with forklifts, boom trucks, cranes, gin poles, or winches (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel extensively (passport recommended)
  • Ability to work 40–60 hours per week in all weather conditions
  • Relevant trade certifications
  • Clean driving record.
