Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking Coax/Fiber Installation Technicians to support residential telecommunications installations throughout Wilmington, NC and the surrounding areas. We are looking for self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, a commitment to customer service, and pride in delivering high-quality work. Technicians are expected to follow strict quality-control and safety standards on every installation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install and service coax and fiber telecommunications equipment at residential customer locations.
  • Install, route, connect, and troubleshoot cable, internet, and related customer-premise equipment.
  • Follow established installation procedures, quality-control standards, OSHA safety requirements, and company policies.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including operating systems and networking.
  • Knowledge of telephone, coax, and fiber systems is an advantage, but not required.


Preferred Experience

  • Cable or broadband installation.
  • Satellite installation.
  • Home theater or low-voltage installation.
  • Residential construction or electrical work.
  • Telephone, coax, fiber, networking, or other telecommunications experience.
