Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring Aerial (Overhead) Telecom Linemen for our Frankfort, KY office. The purpose of an Aerial (Overhead) Telecom Lineman at Team Fishel is to assist the Project Foreman in completing the project safely, on-time, and within the customer's specifications for quality, and other work as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Planning and Initiating Projects
  • Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
  • Setting of Towers and Poles
  • Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Distribution or Transmission Lines
  • Stringing New Wire or Maintaining Old Wire
  • Installing and Maintaining Insulators
  • Installing and Maintaining Transformers and Other Equipment
  • Installing, and Maintaining any Underground Distribution Systems
  • Set up service for customers, installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment
  • Tree Trimming

Lineman Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must have 2+ years experience in the industry
  • Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Louisville area
  • Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
  • Valid CDL-A is strongly desired

Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus
Starting pay $23 - $27 / hour depending on experience.
