Job description

Role/Title: Testing Manager - Telecom Location: Middletown, NJ - ONSITE (Local Candidates Preferred) Interview: Virtual, prepared for onsite round 2, FTF is preferred. Visa: Any, if H1B, please provide dates Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Testing Manager with deep telecom domain expertise to lead quality assurance efforts across large-scale, complex OSS/network programs. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both technical depth and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and present to senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end test strategy, test planning, and environment planning for large, complex telecom programs
  • Lead and manage testing teams across multiple internal and external stakeholders, including offshore/overseas coordination
  • Drive automation frameworks and AI-assisted testing initiatives across the SDLC
  • Oversee integration, regression, and system testing across OSS/network platforms including provisioning, orchestration, activation, and network lifecycle management
  • Present test progress, risk, and quality metrics to senior management and client leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, business, and vendor partners
  • Define and enforce QA processes, release lifecycle standards, and testing best practices
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years in QA/Testing with progressive leadership experience, including 3+ years as a Testing Manager or Test Lead on enterprise-scale programs
  • Strong OSS background - hands-on experience with network lifecycle, orchestration, provisioning, or activation platforms (BSS-only experience will not be considered)
  • Proven automation expertise - hands-on experience building or leading test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Cucumber, or similar)
  • Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and modern QA methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience managing massive, complex test planning including environment strategy across distributed or global teams
  • Strong ability to coordinate between multiple internal and external teams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - comfortable presenting to senior management and C-level stakeholders
  • Telecom industry experience required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting major carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) on OSS/network programs
  • Familiarity with 4G/5G network architecture and related testing considerations
  • Experience in agile/scaled agile delivery environments
