Job description

TITLE:  ONSITE COPY-PRINT SERVICE DELIVERY SPECIALIST 
LOCATION: FOSTER CITY, CA (ONSITE)
 
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides Copy and Print fleet operations functions in one or all the following areas: Proactive monitoring of mfd’s/copiers and printers for service and toner alerts. Performs monthly meter reading activities.  Reports directly to the Service Delivery Manager, Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager, depending onsite personnel configuration.
 
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Collect meter reads on copiers and printing devices, may include automated meter reads as well as manual meter reads
  • Monitors copy and printer machines.
  • Ensures copiers and printers are working properly, checking for quality via daily inspections. Clears paper jams and informs technicians of specific problems.
  • May perform some repair services on customer copier/multifunction (MFD) and printer equipment.
  • Maintains records for management reports and inventories of supplies needed.
  • Responds to and coordinates all service calls required by customer.
  • Maintains daily performance logs.
  • Travel between customer’s buildings.
  • Answers customer questions regarding status of service and/or other customer requests.
  • Ensures upkeep of convenience copier and printer areas by keeping neat and well stocked.
  • May perform meeting room and conference room set ups.
  • May perform building occupant moves within assigned facilities.
  • May require periodic overtime on nights and weekends, including off-hour emergency response.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • Requires high school diploma, GED or 1 –2 years of experience or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Some related industry experience is preferred.
  • Requires valid driver’s license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per RMC policy.
  • Working knowledge of copier, printer and other related equipment and repair is preferred.
  • Possesses troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Possesses ability to read and comprehend written technical information in the form of manuals, parts books, and related publications.
