Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring in the Santa Ana, CA area, and we are looking to hire outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman !
Aerial Telecom Lineman will handle new business projects within our Telecom Construction division. It's also a great opportunity to be part of the team establishing Team Fishel as the leader in the utility construction industry in the state of California as we continue to grow. The wage range for this position is $26.00 to $30.00 an hour depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
Responsibilities
  • Planning and Initiating Projects
  • Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
  • Setting Poles
  • Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Fiber Optic Facilities
  • Installing New Strand and Lashing Fiber
  • Installing and Maintaining Down Guys, Overhead Guys, etc.
  • Building Risers, Installing Snow Shoes/Slack Coils
  • Tree Trimming

Lineman Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must have 1+ years experience in the industry
  • Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
  • Valid CDL-A is strongly desired

Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.
Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
