Project Manager Telecom / Networking Advantage Technology, LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Telecom / Networking Project Manager to oversee customer projects involving network infrastructure, structured cabling, telecom, and related technology deployments. This role owns the project from post-sale handoff through implementation, documentation, closeout, and invoicing readiness. The Project Manager will work closely with customers, internal teams, field technicians, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership to make sure projects are completed on time, within scope, properly documented, and ready to bill.

This position reports directly to the Director of Program Management. Responsibilities The Telecom / Networking Project Manager will be responsible for: Project Management & Coordination Manage the full lifecycle of assigned telecom, networking, cabling, and infrastructure projects. Coordinate project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, documentation, and closeout.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the project lifecycle. Communicate project updates, timelines, risks, delays, and next steps clearly to customers and internal teams. Coordinate internal resources, field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.

Proactively identify project risks, delays, or issues and drive them to resolution. Procurement & Materials Management Ensure all required equipment and materials are ordered in a timely manner. Track routers, switches, access points, cabling, hardware, and other infrastructure materials needed for each project.

Confirm equipment and materials are available before scheduling installation work. Coordinate staging and readiness of materials prior to deployment. Pre-Deployment Preparation Oversee preparation of equipment and project materials before installation.

Coordinate device configuration, programming, labeling, documentation, and job packets. Ensure all project information is complete and ready before handoff to field or installation teams. Confirm that prerequisites are completed before work begins onsite.

Scheduling & Deployment Coordinate project schedules with customers, internal teams, and installation crews. Manage installation timelines and ensure work progresses according to plan. Keep all parties informed of schedule changes, blockers, or delays.

Help ensure technicians and field teams have what they need to complete the work efficiently. CRM, Documentation & Time Tracking Maintain accurate and real-time project updates in the company CRM system. Track milestones, tasks, deliverables, labor, and project status.

Ensure labor time entries are completed and recorded accurately. Maintain accountability and visibility across all assigned projects. Project Closeout & Invoicing Readiness Collect and validate all post-installation documentation, including completion reports, as-built diagrams, testing results, verification notes, and customer signoffs when applicable.

Confirm all project components are completed according to scope. Ensure documentation is complete before project closure. Prepare projects for timely and accurate invoicing.

Qualifications Required 3–5+ years of project management experience in telecom, networking, structured cabling, IT infrastructure, or a related technical environment. Strong understanding of networking equipment such as routers, switches, wireless access points, cabling systems, and related infrastructure. Experience coordinating technical deployments and working with field installation teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer communication and follow-up skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience maintaining project updates, documentation, and task tracking in a CRM or project management system. Preferred PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification. Experience using ConnectWise, Microsoft Project, or similar CRM/project management tools.

Hands-on technical background in networking, telecom, cabling, or infrastructure deployments. Knowledge of network configuration, equipment staging, or field installation processes. CRM records are accurate and updated. Labor time is entered properly. Closeout documentation is complete.
