Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager with a strong background in low voltage systems, structured cabling, smart building infrastructure, and telecom projects. This role will oversee full project lifecycles from pre-construction through handoff, with responsibility for technical execution, crew management, client coordination, and budget oversight. Ideal candidates will have prior experience managing commercial construction projects involving network infrastructure, cabling, and wireless system installation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial construction projects involving low voltage, telecom, cabling, and smart building systems.
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance across multiple concurrent job sites.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, RFQ/RFP processes, and vendor coordination.
  • Interpret blueprints, network schematics, and construction diagrams for execution and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Interface with clients, site supervisors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Supervise installation of network equipment, fiber, wireless access points, and server infrastructure.
  • Conduct project close-outs and transition documentation to operations/support teams.

Preferred Experience & Skills:
  • 7-10+ years of experience in low voltage or telecom project management
  • Experience in structured cabling, network infrastructure, and wireless technologies
  • Strong understanding of civil construction principles and blueprint reading
  • Familiarity with AT&T projects, VRF systems, and telecom recordkeeping tools (TIRKS, Tab/DB) is a plus
  • Excellent scheduling, team leadership, and communication skills
  • OSHA or BICSI certification preferred
