Job description

Landscape Workshop is looking for a Construction Project Manager (PM) to join our Install Division, leading landscape construction projects from start to finish. In this role, youโ€™ll oversee production crews, ensure project quality and safety, and maintain strong communication with clients throughout the installation process.


The PM plays a key leadership role in delivering high-quality landscape construction services that meet client expectations, stay within budget, and align with our commitment to excellence. This is a vital role for individuals seeking to grow into future leadership positions within the company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and support installation crews in the field, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the execution of commercial landscape installation projects ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Perform takeoffs, develop project estimates, and design small-scale landscape enhancements when needed.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients during installation projects, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper use of trucks, equipment, and machinery related to installation services.
  • Work closely with branch and division leadership to track progress, manage budgets, and uphold production timelines.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in landscape construction, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience managing service-focused teams and working directly with clients.
  • Strong understanding of landscape construction methods, equipment, and materials.
  • Proficiency in estimating, takeoffs, and project management.
  • Ability to design and present small landscape projects.
  • Comfortable with basic computer tools; experience using Aspire or similar project management platforms is a plus.
  • Degree in horticulture, landscape construction, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience or certifications may substitute for formal education.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean record; ability to pass a DOT physical.
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to make quick, informed decisions in the field.
