• Establish and maintain a positive and trusting rapport with clients to create a safe environment for their therapeutic journey.
• Diagnose and effectively treat a variety of mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using a comprehensive assessment approach, which may include utilizing standardized tools and patient interviews.
• Conduct regular counseling sessions, either individually or in a group setting, and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and group therapy sessions to educate clients about mental health challenges and coping strategies.
• Coordinate referrals to various specialists as necessary and provide follow-up after referrals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and adhere to confidentiality protocols in compliance with HIPAA standards.

In this role, you will be working primarily with individuals, couples, and families facing an array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Our clinic serves a diverse client base, and you will have the opportunity to work with various demographics, fostering your skills in cultural competency and integrative therapy approaches.

• Must possess an active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual therapy and/or group therapy settings is essential.
• Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities are necessary to maintain effective treatment schedules and administrative tasks.

• Experience with telehealth delivery and an understanding of the technologies involved.
• Training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy) is advantageous.
• Prior experience in a community health clinic is a plus.
