En tant qu'artiste Compositing, vous jouerez un role crucial dans la mise en vie de nos univers animes. L'artiste Compositing est responsable de l'integration des elements 3D rendus, des effets speciaux et d'autres elements pour creer les plans finaux parfaitement realises de notre long metrage d'animation. Cela inclut de garantir la coherence visuelle, de respecter l'intention artistique et de resoudre les defis techniques pour produire des images de haute qualite. 

Ce que vous ferez : 

    • Combiner plusieurs couches d'animation, d'effets visuels, de passes d'eclairage et d'elements d'arriere-plan pour creer une image coherente. 
    • Equilibrer les couleurs, la lumiere et la profondeur afin d'assurer la coherence visuelle entre les plans et les sequences. 
    • Resoudre les problemes techniques tels que les incoherences des contours, le flou de mouvement et le nettoyage des artefacts. 
    • Collaborer avec les departements tels que l'eclairage, les effets et le rendu pour identifier et resoudre les defis specifiques a chaque plan. 
    • Utiliser des logiciels de compositing pour ajouter de la profondeur, de l'atmosphere et des ameliorations comme les effets de lentille, l'etalonnage des couleurs et le flou de mouvement. 
    • Apporter des ajustements creatifs pour s'assurer que la vision du realisateur est realisee dans chaque plan. 
    • Travailler en etroite collaboration avec le Superviseur Compositing et les autres membres de l'equipe pour s'aligner sur la direction artistique et les normes techniques. 
    • Fournir des retours aux departements en amont (par exemple, modelisation, eclairage, FX) pour ameliorer l'efficacite du flux de travail. 
    • Organiser et gerer tous les actifs de compositing, y compris les conventions de nommage des fichiers et leur archivage approprie. 
    • Maintenir des normes elevees en matiere d'organisation des fichiers et de gestion des versions. 

Ce que vous apporterez :  

    • Plus de 5 ans d'experience en tant qu'Artiste Compositing dans l'industrie de l'animation, idealement sur des longs metrages entierement animes ou hybrides. 
    • Maitrise des logiciels 3D standards de l'industrie (par ex. : Maya, Houdini). 
    • Competence dans l'utilisation de Katana, y compris le travail avec des modeles dans un pipeline de production. 
    • Solide comprehension de la theorie des couleurs, de la composition et des principes de la cinematographie. 
    • Connaissance approfondie des langages d'ombrage (par ex. : RenderMan, Arnold). 
    • Familiarite avec les logiciels de compositing (par ex. : Nuke). 
    • Excellentes competences en resolution de problemes et capacite a travailler efficacement sous des delais serres.

As a Compositing Artist, you will play a crucial role in bringing our animated worlds to life. The compositing artist is responsible for integrating 3D rendered assets, special effects, and other elements to create the final polished shots for our animated feature. This includes ensuring visual consistency, maintaining artistic intent, and resolving technical challenges to produce high-quality imagery.  

What you'll be doing: 

    • Combine multiple layers of animation, visual effects, lighting passes, and background elements into a cohesive image. 
    • Balance color, light, and depth to ensure visual consistency across shots and sequences. 
    • Address technical issues such as edge inconsistencies, motion blur, and artifact cleanup. 
    • Collaborate with departments like lighting, effects, and rendering to troubleshoot and resolve shot-specific challenges. 
    • Use compositing software to add depth, atmosphere, and enhancements such as lens flares, color grading, and motion blur. 
    • Apply creative adjustments to ensure the director's vision is achieved in every shot. 
    • Work closely with the Compositing Supervisor, and other team members to align on the creative direction and technical standards. 
    • Provide feedback to upstream departments (e.g., modeling, lighting, FX) to improve workflow efficiency. 
    • Organize and manage all compositing assets, including file naming conventions and ensuring proper archiving. 
    • Maintain high standards for file organization and version control. 

What you'll bring: 

    • 5+ years experience  as a Compositing Artist in the animation industry, ideally on fully animated or hybrid features. 
    • Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (e.g., Maya, Houdini). 
    • Proficiency using Katana including working with templates in a pipeline. 
    • Strong understanding of colour theory, composition, and cinematography principles. 
    • Strong knowledge of shading languages (e.g., RenderMan, Arnold). 
    • Familiarity with compositing software (e.g., Nuke). 
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. 

Location: Montreal, Quebec

Duration: August - November 2026
