Unlike many field positions, LPS provides both the company vehicle and fuel card.
Your workday begins at our corporate office in Houston, PA, where you will:
  • Pick up your assigned company vehicle
  • Receive any necessary equipment and supplies
  • Travel to assigned job sites
  • Return the vehicle and equipment to the office at the end of your shift
Position Overview
As a Rover Field Technician, you'll travel to various Oil & Gas locations to inspect equipment and job sites while helping ensure operations continue safely and efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, working independently, and paying close attention to detail.
Responsibilities
  • Drive a company-provided vehicle to assigned locations
  • Inspect equipment and work sites
  • Collect and record information using an iPad
  • Identify and mark issues using paint, tape, signage, or other approved materials
  • Complete accurate electronic documentation
  • Report findings to management
  • Maintain professional communication throughout the shift
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must:
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Have a reliable personal vehicle for transportation to and from our Houston, PA office
  • Maintain current vehicle registration and insurance
  • Own a working smartphone
  • Be comfortable using iPads, mobile applications, and other technology
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Be capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening

Certain felony and misdemeanor convictions may disqualify applicants due to licensing requirements under Pennsylvania law governing Private Investigator agencies.
