Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Engagement Manager with deep expertise in airport operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP systems, and IoT technologies to lead the IT operations for a greenfield airport terminal implementation. This role requires extensive experience working in highly regulated environments, coordinating with multiple technology vendors, and ensuring strict compliance with FAA, TSA, and federal regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Program Leadership
  • Lead and manage end-to-end IT operations for the airport terminal.

  • Develop governance frameworks aligned with aviation standards and federal mandates.

  • Ensure operational readiness across infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP, and IoT systems.

  • Drive the delivery of mission-critical IT components for terminal launch.

2. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary interface between airport authorities, regulators, and technology vendors.

  • Manage complex ecosystems including partners such as SITA and Schneider Electric.

  • Oversee vendor performance, SLAs, contracts, and delivery timelines.

  • Facilitate effective communication across all internal/external stakeholders.

3. Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure alignment with FAA, TSA, and other regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Oversee cybersecurity policies, risk mitigation frameworks, and system hardening.

  • Manage audits, compliance reporting, and regulatory assessments.

QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.

Experience
  • 10+ years in IT program/operations management.

  • Minimum 5 years supporting airport, aviation, or highly regulated industries.

  • Experience delivering greenfield implementations with broad IT ecosystems.

  • Hands-on experience in Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, ERP, IoT technologies.

Skills
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations, compliance mandates, and security frameworks.

  • Proven vendor management and multi-stakeholder coordination abilities.

  • Ability to manage large-scale, multi-vendor operations under strict regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and decision‐making skills.

Preferred Background
  • Experience within airport IT operations or government-regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with vendors such as SITA, Schneider Electric, etc.

  • Exposure to mission-critical systems supporting high-security environments.
