Seeking an IT Project Manager to drive project management processes, construct integrated timelines, and manage communication across business resources, sponsors, and steering committees to ensure successful project execution aligned with quality requirements.

Qualifications

  • IT Project Management Experience: 5–7 years required

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Handles communication with business resources, sponsors, steering committee's and governance councils.
  • Crafts and maintains project charter and communicates status.
  • Builds and maintains an integrated project timeline which includes dependencies, effort, and resource driven timelines.
  • Requests work estimates based on effort instead of duration and communicates the importance of not including buffer in work estimates.
  • Influences adjustments to project timeline, budget, resources, and activities.
  • Provides critical path/critical chain information to project team members and leaders to influence the prioritization of work.
  • Facilitates status meetings and issue management.
  • Communicates the impact of project changes to portfolio manager.
  • Incorporates and handles execution of OCM plan, as a part of the overarching project plan.
  • Is accountable for facilitation of project management processes such as Quality Review Boards (QRBs), Project Peer Reviews, Timeline Risk Analysis (TRAs), and Lessons Learned.
  • Educates project team members on project processes and methodologies.
  • Relies on appropriate technical resources for specific application knowledge.
  • Possesses general awareness and knowledge of regulatory, legal, or quality requirements impacting the business area, and ensures project plan tasks align with quality requirements.
  • Facilitates identification and support of roles and responsibilities.
