Job description

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex, multi-team technology initiatives from initiation to closeout.

Position Details

  • Location: Mechanicsville, VA
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2–3 days/week onsite)
  • Interview Process: Webcam or In-Person

The Crux of the Position

You will serve as a hands-on IT Project Manager bridging technical developers, business leaders, and external vendors. You’ll oversee full project lifecycles—managing budgets, schedules, risks, vendor contracts, and deliverables while adhering to strict governance standards.


Must-Have Qualifications

  • Active Certification: Active PMP (from PMI) or VITA PM certification is MANDATORY (Proof required).
  • 15+ Years: Experience managing large-scale IT projects.
  • 10+ Years: Holding active PMP status.
  • 5+ Years: Hands-on mastery of both Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
  • 5+ Years: Proficiency with MS Project / Project Server, Visio, Excel, and SharePoint.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Bonus Highlights

  • Agile Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) certification is a plus.
