Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Tech Project Manager to lead technical projects within the banking and payments domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical project management background, experience leading projects related to banking or account management, and familiarity with payments. Exposure to blockchain and cryptocurrency, as well as experience working with Java applications, will be considered a strong advantage. The candidate should be comfortable using Jira for project tracking and working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end technical projects within banking, account management, payments, and related technology environments.
• Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with technology teams, business stakeholders, product teams, and other cross-functional partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Track project progress, milestones, action items, and dependencies using Jira.
• Partner with development teams supporting Java-based applications and technology platforms.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as appropriate.
• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and aligned with business and technical objectives.
• Support projects involving emerging financial technologies, including blockchain and cryptocurrency, as applicable.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, schedules, and other delivery artifacts.
• Drive collaboration across teams to resolve blockers and maintain project momentum.
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of total professional experience is preferred.
• Strong experience in technical project management.
• Experience leading projects within banking, financial services, or account management environments.
• Experience working with payments-related projects or platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for project tracking and delivery management.
• Strong understanding of software development and technology project lifecycles.
• Experience working with cross-functional technology and business teams.
• Strong project planning, organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, risks, and project deliverables.
• Candidates with a software development background and project management experience are also encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
