About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified OB Tech in Oxnard, California, 93030!

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Assist in obstetric procedures and surgeries as part of the OB team
  • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment
  • Monitor patients during labor and delivery, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with nurses and physicians to provide excellent patient care
  • Document patient information accurately using Cerner charting system
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an OB Tech
  • Current BLS certification required
  • CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
  • Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of obstetric surgical instruments and sterile techniques
  • Proficiency in Cerner charting system
  • Understanding of acute care settings and obstetric procedures
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
