Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Emergency Aid Patrol in Lakewood, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support a caring environment by communicating professionally, responding to security-related concerns, and working collaboratively with staff and visitors. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
