Saskatoon Public Schools is the largest school division in Saskatchewan, serving nearly 29,000 students with the support of more than 3,300 dedicated professional and support staff. Our division includes 48 elementary schools and 10 secondary schools, including a flexible learning program for artists and athletes, and a unique partnership school Charles Red Hawk Elementary School located on Whitecap Dakota Nation.

Substitute Library Technicians

 
Saskatoon Public Schools has an immediate need to add qualified Library Technicians to our substitute list at both the elementary and secondary levels.  Library Technicians assist the Teacher Librarian in the development, organization, and maintenance of a collection of print and non-print library material and AV equipment in a school Learning Resource Centre (LRC).

Applicants must have grade twelve or equivalent and have completed a Library Technician course.  Six months previous related experience is preferred.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and research skills.   The successful candidate will have strong computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet searching.
