Als Data Analyst speelt u een cruciale rol in het ontwerpen, leveren en onderhouden van hoogwaardige dataoplossingen voor AML-processen, waarbij u zorgt voor compliance, efficiëntie en schaalbaarheid binnen de organisatie. U fungeert als brug tussen data providers (IT, Data Hub, Operations) en data gebruikers (AML/Compliance teams), waarbij technische oplossingen worden afgestemd op zakelijke behoeften en strikte data governance en kwaliteitsnormen worden gehandhaafd.

Uw kernverantwoordelijkheden omvatten:
  • Stakeholder Alignment & Communication
    Coördineren van input van IT, Data Hub, Compliance (CPL) en Operations, met afstemming via gestructureerde documentatie, workshops en duidelijke communicatie.
    Vertalen van complexe zakelijke vereisten naar uitvoerbare dataoplossingen, met balans tussen technische haalbaarheid en regelgevende en operationele behoeften.
  • Data Governance & Quality
    Opzetten en handhaven van data governance kaders, inclusief roldefinities, kwaliteitsregels en toegangsprotocollen, in samenwerking met data providers en gebruikers.
    Proactief monitoren, verfijnen en escaleren van datakwaliteitsproblemen om de integriteit van AML-gerelateerde datasets te waarborgen.
  • Data Analysis & Troubleshooting
    Onderzoeken en oplossen van datadiscrepanties, inclusief mainframe-gebaseerde datapunten.
    Analyseren van AML Transaction Monitoring data om patronen, hiaten of anomalieën te identificeren die compliance of operationele efficiëntie beïnvloeden.
  • Solution Design & Industrialization
    Ontwerpen van logische en fysieke datamodellen (zoals datawarehouses, datamarts) geoptimaliseerd voor AML-rapportage en analytics.
    Ontwikkelen en industrialiseren van datapijplijnen voor naadloze dataflow en toegankelijkheid.

  • Process Optimization

    Bepleiten van best practices in data security, architectuur en compliance, in lijn met IT- en risicomanagementstandaarden.
  • Minimaal een masterdiploma in een kwantitatieve discipline zoals statistiek, wiskunde of engineering (andere academische achtergronden met substantiële analytische kennis worden ook aangemoedigd).
  • Minimaal 5 jaar relevante ervaring in Data Analytics, waarvan 2-6 jaar hands‑on ervaring met AML-processen of financiële criminaliteitspreventie.
  • Vaardigheid in SQL en data modelleringstools (zoals PowerDesigner of equivalent).
  • Bekendheid met Agile-methodologieën en projectmanagementtools (JIRA, Agile Central) is een pluspunt.
  • Diepgaande kennis van bankdata, met name AML Transaction Monitoring data (CAT datapoints: klant, rekening, transactie attributen).
