Job description

[About the Role]
Join our dynamic Operations team as a Technician in Oldsmar, FL, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of advanced in-line manufacturing equipment. Leverage your extensive technical expertise to support our CCA production process, working closely with cross-functional leadership and engineering teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
[Responsibilities]
- Execute installation, maintenance, and immediate repairs on complex manufacturing machines and equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures, replace defective components, and troubleshoot using detailed schematics, manuals, and electronic testing tools.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on equipment performance, proactively implementing improvements.
- Redesign basic optical, vacuum, electrical, or mechanical systems to enhance existing equipment.
- Estimate labor and equipment costs; prepare requisitions and maintain accurate logs for maintenance, inventory, and repairs.
- Collaborate with Production Line leadership, Product, Process, Quality, and Test Engineers to support seamless operations.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including handling chemicals and following ESD protocols.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and repair within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with mechanical hand tools, soldering equipment, and standard electronic diagnostic devices.
- Advanced problem-solving skills related to processes, products, and procedures.
- Solid understanding of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to complete and demonstrate proficiency in Manufacturing Training Programs, PWB Handling, First Piece Certification, Component Identification, and ESD protocols.
- Flexible schedule, including possible weekend and 1st or 2nd shift work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent with specialized technical training or Associate degree.
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience with MyCronic PnP, Universal Instruments PnP, Kohyoung/YesTech AOI, SMT CCA Inline-Wash, and MPM Screen Printers.
- Associate degree or vocational certificate in a technical field.
