Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tempe, AZ that is seeking a Technical Support that provides first-level IT support for employees across office and jobsite environments. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, printer, audio/visual, and connectivity issues while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems
* Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, antivirus, printers, mobile devices, and company applications
* Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related hardware
* Install and support printers, copier/scanners, wireless networks, routers, and jobsite technology
* Support conference room and huddle room audio/video equipment
* Assist with technology setup for meetings, presentations, and training events
* Document issues and resolutions within the ticketing system
* Participate in hardware refreshes, upgrades, and IT projects as assigned
* Maintain regular, reliable attendance and perform other duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
* Technology-related certification or equivalent technical training considered; CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications preferred; Microsoft Windows or Microsoft 365 certifications are a plus
* 2+ years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience
* Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support users of varying technical backgrounds
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests simultaneously
* Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Preferred Certifications:
* CompTIA A+
* CompTIA Network+
* Microsoft Windows 10/11 Certifications
Technical Skills:
* Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration and support
* Operating system installation, imaging, and configuration
* Desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting and repair
* Printer, copier/scanner, and peripheral support
* TCP/IP networking fundamentals and network troubleshooting
* Wireless networking, routers, and access point configuration
* Microsoft Office and general software application support
* Basic audio/visual support for conference rooms and training events
* Experience working with ticketing systems and end-user support environments
Additional Requirements:
* Ability to lift and move equipment up to 20 pounds
* Comfortable working in office and construction jobsite environments
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
