Job Summary:
Lamb Weston is a leading manufacturer in the food industry, known for its innovative approach and global reach. The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects, ensuring successful outcomes through effective resource allocation and proactive risk management.
Responsibilities:
• Daily management of multiple projects or larger scale, complex projects
• Responsible for managing project scope, schedule, and budget over the project lifecycle
• Create detailed project schedule, manage project resources, and forecast resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle
• Create and manage project budget, providing regular financial updates, as well as forecasted project spend vs. actuals reconciliation.
• Perform effective risk management and mitigation activities across all assigned projects
• Perform resource management and effectively forecast and allocation project-level resources
• Review and manage change management activities across all assigned projects
• Prepare and present project status reporting to project stakeholders and leadership
• Collaborate successfully with a variety of project, business, and technology stakeholders
• Facilitate support transition and project closure activity steps
• Advocate for strong project management principles and drive adherence to the project management lifecycle
Qualifications:
Required:
• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 5 years’ experience as Program or Project Manager, preferably in a technology environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
• Proven leadership as a Sr. Project Manager with strong project management experience on large, complex projects
• Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource management
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
• Ability to work globally and with a wide range of individuals
• Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to problem-solve effectively
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
• Master’s degree a plus
• PMP preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite, portfolio management software (preferably ServiceNow)
