GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Program Manager will proactively manage program execution across cost, schedule, technical performance, and contract requirements while ensuring successful delivery of program objectives, customer commitments, and strategic business goals. The Program Manager portfolio will include capture and execution of Command, Control, and Communications Battle Management (C3BM) training support to systems such as E-3 AWACS, E-7 Wedgetail,Control and Reporting Centers, Tactical Operations Center family of systems, Air Intercept Controller, Project Tripoli, Space Command and Control, and Air & Missile Defense systems across joint forces and partner nations. The Program Manager will also serve as Capture Manager for US Customer Operations and coordinate Capture efforts with other Business Units across the company.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead daily program execution ensuring alignment with contract, technical, business, and strategic objectives
  • Oversee program cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial activities
  • Monitor schedule performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions to maintain program execution objectives
  • Validate technical deliverables against customer requirements, program milestones, and quality standards
  • Facilitate seamless program execution and communication in coordination across customers, Business Development, Production, Finance, Contracts, Supply Chain, subcontractors, and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluate performance by establishing metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure program progress and success and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensures all program and project measures comply with company standards and procedures
  • Assist in planning and setting organizational goals/milestones
  • Recognizes areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementing
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationship with executive level customers
  • Supports contract negotiation with applicable Managers for contracts/contract mods with Government Contracting Officer or Prime contractor
  • Leverages extensive knowledge of LVC/DMO operations, the synthetic training industry, as well as military/defense industry experience to develop and enhance relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify and advocate capability inclusion in PLEXSYS training ecosystem product roadmap to best meet future C3BM customer training gaps
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Management or Administration (or Bachelors' Degree plus two (2) years of additional experience)
  • Experience in Defense Industry program management processes and using Earned Value Management concepts
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating activities across Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Planning, Procurement, and Operations organizations to accomplish program objectives
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technically complex environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal leadership, customers, subcontractors, and technical teams
  • Ability to operate with limited day-to-day direction while demonstrating sound judgment, initiative, and accountability in program execution activities
  • Ability to travel domestically on a limited basis to customer, supplier, subcontractor, and internal company facilities as required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain minimum of US-DOD Secret security clearance, up to Top-Secret, and approval for Special Access Program; must be a US Citizen for consideration

DESIRABLE
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of military/Defense industry experience in C3BM
  • DoD Acquisition Experience: Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and documentation
  • Experience in Joint and Combined environment
  • Advanced Certification: PMP certification preferred (Highly Desirable)
  • Experience with tools such as MS Project, MS Excel, ProPricer, SalesForce, Atlassian Wiki/JIRA
