Position Summary
The Procurement Specialist willsupport the full procurement cycle, from request for quotation to negotiation and logistics followโ€‘up, working closely with Engineering, Construction and Suppliers. The incumbent will provide technical procurement support within the renewable or industrial sector. The acquisition of electrical and photovoltaic equipment such as inverters, transformers, solar panels is a main responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
ยท Manage RFQs for main equipment
ยท Analyse technical and commercial bid comparisons in coordination with Engineering.
ยท Negotiate prices, lead times and conditions with national and international suppliers.
ยท Issue purchase orders and perform logistics followโ€‘up until delivery on site.
ยท Maintain the supplier database and qualification records up to date.
ยท Support the preparation of framework agreements and supply contracts.
ยท Monitor milestones, deadlines and technical documentation associated with each purchase.
ยท Collaborate in internal and external audits of the Procurement department.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical procurement is required. Preferably this experience has been in renewable energy or electrical/industrial sectors.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or another related field is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience working with equipment such as: Inverters, Transformers, PV Modules.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple suppliers simultaneously.
  • Organized, proactive and qualityโ€‘oriented profile with strong deadline management
