Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates Alignment to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs)
  • Drives a Philosophy of Practical Process Improvement (PPI) and 5S Principles
  • Performs Setup, Disassembly, Operation, and Corrective/Preventative Maintenance of Pharmaceutical Packaging Machinery including Form/Fill/Seal, Bottle lines, Automated Labeling and Printing
  • Collaborates with Vendors and Contractors to Facilitate Upgrades and Repairs
  • Works with Internal and External Customers to Achieve Common Goals
  • Practices and Maintains an Organized and Safe Working Environment
  • Other Duties May be Assigned to Meet Business Needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience Interpreting Schematics, Technical Drawings, and Work Orders
  • Familiarity with Testing/Measuring Devices, and Hand Tools
  • Understanding of Electromechanical Principals and Functions
  • Knowledge of Pneumatics, PLC controls, Vision Systems, Robotics
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Work Order Tracking Software
  • Able to Multitask and Respond to Shifting Priorities
  • Good Interpersonal Skills vital, both Written and Verbal
  • Ability to Lift up to 75lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED, Technical School, or Military Experience
  • Minimum of 2 Years’ Experience in Industrial Maintenance, Product Packaging, or Production-Type Setting
  • Experience in one of the Trades; Electronics, Fabrication, Welding, or Machining etc.
